Sephlin Foundation was inspired by Sephlin Hepworth’s vision for children, starting with her own. She believes in using golf to break barriers and prepare children to take on their futures with confidence.

Sephlin is a wife, mother of nine, and a golf enthusiast. She is also an entrepreneur and has started a variety of businesses, including Droc Auto, Droc Golf, Grand Teton Store, and Irie Property Holdings. Since 1992, she has used her combined experiences, both in motherhood and in academics, to supply her success.

Through her golf company, Sephlin LLC, she’s had remarkable success in connecting with customers through her performance golf equipment and decade-long experience in the golf industry. Now, she wants to give back by stretching the influence of golf beyond the green.

Jay A. Hepworth

Jay A. Hepworth is a retired businessman. He started and managed a tire store/auto repair business for forty years and sold it in 2015. He has been involved in various community and social programs and events. He studied Political Science for two years at the local university, where he met his wife, Pat. They have eight children together. Jay has served his church with various responsibilities, including a bishop of a university campus congregation and a local town congregation. Jay served in the Boy Scouts of America and was president of the Upper Valley Art Guild.

Jay stays busy doing artwork for those requesting specific work in oil painting. He is also dedicated to helping anyone in need of assistance and has written a book about the remarkable individuals he has helped or collaborated with, titled “The Dog Lady and Life”. The book is currently being published by Perry Publishing.

Lucas Handy a businessman owner of Handy Optimal. He started studying business at BYU-Idaho. Then received his graduate degree from BYU studying non-profits. Lucas Handy and Sephlin Hepworth graduated together and finished the Integrated Business Core (IBC) together. Since then they have been involved with each others businesses in various capacities. Lucas loves the outdoors in Idaho. He harvests an elk and a deer typically annually. He also is the proud father of three children that have enjoyed the foundation, as well as the husband of Mary Handy, an Idaho farm girl. His role as the secretary is to encourage sustainable growth to serve the mission of Sephlin Foundation.
